SOHRYU ASUKA LANGLEY, designated pilot of EVA-02, sits on stone steps decked out in the trendy 'Goth/Loli' Tokyo fashion rage as this new Crimson Red dress statue! Measuring approximately 8' tall (seated), this pvc statue expertly captures the pluck and spunk of Neon Genesis Evangelion's 'Second Child'. Not to be outdone by her normally more flamboyant counterpart, REI AYANAMI also is attired in her Gothic Lolita black 'Noir' dress. Rei is designed to be displayed with Asuka, with both character bases being part of the weathered Evangelion world, or either can be displayed equally as nice as a solo piece. The First Child also has a removable hat, allowing for posing options, and measures approximately 4 1/2' talltall in her seated position. Skillfully sculpted for Naoki Nishimura, the highest care has been taken to not only create beautiful renditions of the EVA girls, but also to authentically replicate the intricate lace and ribbons style of the Goth/Loli world.

Certainly one of the best figures by Kotobukiya. Very detailed, interesting sculpt. The paint job wasn't great on my figure and had some flaws, but maybe others where more lucky. The base - an EVA head - is nice too and I also like her translucent hair.

This is another ove mt Favourite figures and as i said in the Auska review its a must have fiugre. These figures are a set of 4. Sikinami Asuka Langley, Rei Ayanami, Makinami Mari Illustrious & Nagisa Kaworu.
