Developed in the 1970s, the Merkava tank was designed using the new spaced-armor techniques and composite armor plates, and as the result, the Merkava proved to be extremely survivable in combat. The Merkava tank continues to play an important role in the IDF arsenal today. This model kit features accurate scale replica of the Merkava with 105 mm main gun, optional open or closed hatches, optional open or closed headlights, and one detailed tank commander figure.
