I'll admit that this is actually the first scale figure that I have purchased, so I can't compare it to other scale figures properly.
What I can say comparatively though is that this figure holds a near-perfect resemblance to Madoka as portrayed in the main art of the 4 Puella Magi. The only difference really is the cleaning up and/or enhancing of the shaping of some parts of the figure; the 2 most obvious ones being that her mouth in the art is a bit bigger and reaches the bottom of her chin, and the line of hair at the roots of her fringe is more rounded than on the figure. Other than these sorts of things, which I find don't really subtract from the quality of the figure, no small detail is left out.
The figure itself in terms of moulding, not comparing with the art, is very detailed, where no edge is more or less sharp or round than it should be. As far as the paint job goes, I found no mistakes whatsoever. It is painted very nicely. This things can also be said for the interchangable parts, which are Kyubey and Madoka's magical bow. The base also fits well visually, while not distracting you from the figure.
Very nice indeed. If you had any doubts, hopefully I covered them. This figure is well worth the money, and will display amazingly well, of course, with the Good Smile Company 1/8 scale Akemi Homura!
