This is a Fujimi 1/350 scale assembly required plastic model kit of the aircraft carrier Zuikaku ("Auspicious Crane"), a Shokaku-class aircraft carrier of the Imperial Japanese Navy in the Second World War. This kit features unpainted plastic parts mounted on sprues. Illustrated assembly guide and waterslide decals are included. Scale model building experience highly recommended. *ABOUT THE CARRIER ZUIKAKU: The Zuikaku was one of the six carriers that attacked the U.S. naval base at Pearl Harbor on December 7th, 1941. Accompanied by her sister ship the Shokaku ("Soaring Crane") of Carrier Division Five under the command of Rear Admiral Hara, the Zuikaku launched two waves of air attacks against U.S. Naval installations and battleships in Pearl Harbor. The Zuikaku was sunk by U.S. Navy dive-bomber and torpedo-bomber in the battle off Cape Engano on October 24, 1944.

Another excellent kit from Fujimi it is extremely well detailed as you would expect from them, the instructions are clear which for a kit of this size and complexity is a must for me. I am now hoping the release a kit of the IJN Soryu in 1/350 scale so as to complete the Pearl harbour strike force. Going back to the Zuikaku I have not come across any negative issues with the kit and cannot wait to start it. Again a first class kit many thanks Fujimi.
